The challenge – making IT support make sense everywhere
A global healthcare client was about to roll out a major tech upgrade across its international offices. The technology wasn’t the problem. Knowing who to call when something went wrong was.
Teams in every region hit the same issues – login problems, equipment mishaps, general uncertainty. The existing guidance was inconsistent and often too technical, so the helpdesk spent its time on things people could have fixed themselves while critical issues waited. Whatever replaced it had to feel friendly and practical, and work in any office, in any language.
The process – scenario-based eLearning design with a friendly guide
We started by listening. Workshops and interviews with teams across regions shaped realistic scenarios and set the tone. Then came Digi, an animated guide, sketched and refined until it felt warm without pulling focus from the learning.
Each of the eight modules followed one familiar mishap, from printer failures to password resets, with a clear decision at its heart: fix it yourself, or escalate. We built everything in Storyline with high-contrast layouts, simple navigation and accessible typography, and a single illustration system kept every asset ready for localisation. User testing refined the pacing before posters and facilitator materials took the training off-screen and into the offices themselves.

The result – a friendly face that stuck
The programme launched in thirteen countries and eight languages, and quickly became a trusted part of the upgrade. Unnecessary tickets dropped. Colleagues troubleshot with confidence. And Digi became a familiar face across offices, posters and workshops, with further translations and modules already in the pipeline.

This project was completed prior to the launch of Watercat Creative.
I had the pleasure of working with Mario on multiple projects, and he is one of those colleagues who makes collaboration easy and enjoyable. He’s approachable and open, which means projects always move forward smoothly with him on the team. On top of that, Mario consistently delivers creative, high-quality work; he has a great eye for detail and always brings fresh ideas that elevate the final output. What really stands out is the speed at which he works without ever compromising quality. He’s reliable, creative, and a genuine team player, someone I’d be glad to work with again.
